$104 million in Cincinnati housing projects land city backing

Local12: “Cincinnati’s Department of Community and Economic Development awarded more than $7 million to nine affordable housing projects throughout the city that will spur a total investment of nearly $104 million.

Mayor Aftab Pureval along with city councilmember Reggie Harris announced the $7.1 million for the projects this week as part of the city’s Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) program. The awards are expected to help create 266 new affordable housing units and preserve another 142 existing affordable units. That marks an increase from last year’s NOFA awards of more than 200%.”
